Unlike standard paper, high-quality cardboard often requires multiple layers of pulp to achieve the necessary thickness and burst strength. Leizhan utilizes a multi-Fourdrinier wire or cylinder mold system. This allows the mill to use different grades of pulp for the surface and the core, optimizing costs by using lower-grade recycled fiber in the center while maintaining a smooth, printable surface on the outside.
